Convoy for a Cure events
Convoy for a Cure was founded by Rachèle Champagne in 2008. She had the idea of having an all female convoy to celebrate women truck drivers and raise awareness and money for research and education of breast cancer. It started out with one convoy in 2008 raising $15,000. In 2009, it grew to three convoys in Canada and the one in the United States raising just short of $100,000.
