This is Me.

with an "up to" $12,000 tuition

For a license that costs $100? Do they provide the entertainment?

You get a CDL engraved on a gold tablet, huh?

:coocoo:

That's absolutely nuts. Keep the 12 large for a down payment on a truck, and sign on with an OTR training carrier.

You can buy an older class 8 truck for 12 large, and have change left over.

when i was there in '08/'09, it was only a mere $8,000.

entertainment IS provided. you get to go to the DMV yard, and watch the students fail. especially the know it all's.

Check into TMC Transportation. They are very veteran friendly. Welcome to the forum.
i have a list of places, but he hasn't been back.

he needs to tell me where's he's been knocking who's doors. otherwise, my list can be only to serve as a rerun to his knocking.

TMC by the way, is about 40 miles north of my location. (maybe his as well)

You're still way out of line with the cost of most quality driving schools.

I paid two grand at CR England 11 years ago.

You're aware of the low opinion held by everyone outside of CRE, about CRE and anything to do with them?

Just checkin'...

:stare1:

You really paid for that dose of misery?

:confused-96:

I think they still require a year but look for Barr Nunn I'm case they are taking newbs. They had a NE regional that was ok.

Barr Nunn and many others recruit out of my state. many ads are on Craig's List. many say no experience, no problem.

but then parking is a problem. the companies i have mentioned, you of course park on site.

Barr-nunn has customers to drop trailers. I always dropped mine at Nestle Water in Florida, and Dell up here.

I don't think anybody meant any disrespect. I certainly didn't, considering almost everybody initially makes the same mistake with me. Since 90% of our industry is male and you and I both chose ambiguous user names, it's logical to assume we are male until we show otherwise. Please don't take offense.
