The Time To Shutdown Your Trucks Has Arrived

We have been talking about this for several weeks now, and while we need to continue talking about it, the time as arrived to act upon it if you planned to do so.

There have been some convoys planned for this week, and if you live in an area where one is taking place, and can participate, we urge you to do so. In addition to convoys, keep your eyes and ears open for any sort of demonstrations that are taking place and participate.

We also urge everyone who is participating in this shutdown to do so in a peaceful manner and be respectful of others with differing opinions.

Once this shutdown is over and done, it is very important that everyone, whether you support the shutdown or not, realizes that this is just the beginning. We have many issues that need to be addressed in this industry, and we need to keep everyone focused on changing this industry for the better.

So, stick around and lets continue addressing these issues. The last thing we need is for everyone who has stepped up to the plate recently to quiet back down once this is over. I think most of us have learned a valuable lesson: We can't wait until things get out of hand before acting in the future.

We also want to let all of you know that a couple very valuable chat sessions took place at the forum over the weekend, and we hope to get even more people together in the chat room this week.

I'm seeing convoys being planned over the next couple of weeks, so this won't just come to a screeching halt, which is fitting since the problems won't come to a fast resolution. We need to let them know we aren't going away.

Very well said. Drivers are going to have to keep pushing to get things changed, and once they are changed, it is important to stay on top of the issues, and not wait until times get desperate again like they are now.

Yeah, desperate times call for desperate measures like what we are being forced into now, we let it go and let it go, next time, hopefully all of us will remember the warning signs and start before it comes to this.
