"Safe havens are a location for anyone hauling hazardous material where they can park at a remote area, under lock and key, and is away from a populated area."


I am sure there might be places somewhere, I do not know of any place like this around Kentucky or Ohio.

I do know that in Kentucky, on 75 the weigh station/ rest areas are marked as a safe haven. But they are in no way under lock and key, although there is someone on the premises at all times.

yeah, Kentucky recently made their weigh stations "safe havens", and they are working toward adding new ones in the state.
