I attended Bailey tech school diesel mechanis course immediately after high school, graduated in '78. First job for fleet in st louis, moved to small time operator that was local. Worked as his mechanic, short of drivers one day, so he put me in a truck and i became driver by day, mechanic by night. Loved driving so much, became owner operator till babies came along. Wife had no stomach for business and as i later found out.... no stomach for me either. Took over small family farm and became a lineman for utility i was mechanicing for. Retiring from there soon. We have a semi for our farm. I'm currently restoring a 77 W900A with factory 72 inch walk in flat top, canadian spread on the drives, 400 come apart. And 15 spd trans. Has 4 spring reyco ride with the air bag base at rear. In process of stripping it down and putting it back together now.... sorry guys, its going to be case ih red.... cant help it!
