Brig. Gen. Robinson Risner, one of the nation’s most decorated pilots in the Korean and Vietnam Wars, who spent seven and a half years in the infamous “Hanoi Hilton” prison after being shot down, died on Tuesday at his home in Bridgewater, Va. He was 88.

With that folks I bid you adieu. I am gonna go crack a bottle and celebrate the fact that man was an American Hero.
 
An amazing life. Amazing man. After Korea went on to Vietnam. suffered many hardships. I like the last line, a true warrior. (Paraphrase) If we met in combat you would not be here. God rest your soul, Gen. Risner.
