OOIDA urges members to take part in hours-of-service survey

OOIDA is urging small-business trucking professionals to contribute to a survey about hours of service in an effort to educate lawmakers about the issues. The Association has been invited to present comments to the U.S. House of Representatives’ Small Business Committee about how the July 1 change to HOS is affecting truckers.

“The Association needs your information as a representative of the trucking industry,” OOIDA leadership stated in a Call to Action to members. “This is an opportunity for your voice to be heard.”

The 30 minute break has been a thorn in my side many times already. It's been a much bigger deal for me than I thought it would be.
