One trucker's tribute to our troops
COBURG, Ont. -- Owner-operator Larry Josie says we all owe a great debt to Canada's veterans, and he fully supports the Canadian troops currently serving overseas. And it's not just lip service. This Coburg Ont.-based trucker has created a rolling tribute to the men and women who serve Canada. First, he decorated his tractor with the names and photos of several vets, plucked from the Department of National Defense archives. The truck is a 2005 model, which was designated The Year of the Veteran in Canada.
