More reasons for a National Truckers Strike...

We need the U.S. Strategic Oil Reserve, but when is enough resereve oil enough. With 20,000,000 barrels of sweet crude oil (the easiest to refine) are going into the S.O.R. every month the price of crude is effected by as much as 12%. Then if you add the unregulated crude oil speculators (carpetbaggers) who are also driving crude oil as high as $110 a barrel, or 34%, you get the total added to the cost of a barrel of crude oil of 46%. That 46% rise in crude oil prices is just in the last year. If we removed that 46% rise in crude oil we would see a drop in fuel prices by as much as $2.00 in some parts of the county.

We hire (elect) candidates based on our trust in them, and their experience to manage the affairs of this nation as if it were a major multination corporation. But it would appear from the condition of the dollar, crude oil prices, and the cost of food, the sub-prime debacle that we hired the wrong people to run the business of America. They have shifted their commitment from America to the multinational corporations through campaign contributions (bribes). When the management team of any business no longer manages the affairs of the of the shock holders, in this case the American Voters, either because of corruption within the management team or a lack of business skills it is the duty of board of directors (the citizens) to terminate those responsible for the failure of the business. In the next election we need to be more careful who we give the keys to the chicken-coop.

In 2004 Lee Raymond the retired CEO of EXXON said in an interview with Charlie Rose (PBS) that there was enough crude oil still in the ground to last another 250 years at it's pressent rate of use.

In 2007 the Energy Dept leased over 600 new oil field to US oil companies, with more than another 600 more expected in 2008. Up until now the shallower waters of the Golf of Mexico was thought to have 10 billion barrels still in the ground. But in deeper water (below 5000ft.) they have found what they believe to be 70 billion barrels of sweet crude, or what OPEC has in it's reserves. In the South China Sea they have found what they believe could to be well over 30 billion and possibly as much as 250 billon. Off the coast of Brazil they estimate they have found over 132 billion barrels of sweet crude. When you hear the term "Peck Oil" start swinging, because it's a sham!

We have to rememeber that the heads of "super sized" corporations are not always honest people, that the crimial mind is not exclucively the mind of car-jacker, and the common crimial. A lot of crimial minds have been educated at Harvard and Yale.

LETS NOT FORGET THE REFINERIES..i THINK THIS a HUGE problem

A recent report shows the energy bill being negotiated between the House and the Senate would dramatically increase energy (including gasoline) prices. Economic research firm CRA International found that congressional proposals would more than double the cost of petroleum products — if you don't like oil at $100 per barrel you will really hate it at $200 per barrel.

It should come as no surprise that Congress would make matters worse. After all, they are partly to blame for our current situation. Building new oil refineries or expanding existing ones is among the most affordable, effective and reliable ways to increase supplies and lower prices. Yet emissions controls and mandates for specific gasoline blends have forced many refineries to close and made building new oil refineries very difficult. In fact, no new ones have been built in the U.S. for nearly 30 years.

For example throughout the 1990s, the oil industry spent nearly 25 percent of capital investment — more than $100 billion — to comply with environmental regulations. For some plants, compliance with ever-increasing standards was simply too costly. For instance, oil refiner Premcor shut two Illinois oil refineries because it could not afford required upgrades. Modifications in one refinery alone would have cost $70 million.

Clean air regulations have also discouraged building new facilities. For example, construction of a new refinery in Arizona has been delayed since 1997 over concerns of its impact on air quality and the proposed site, even though the plant received the required air permits. Now, even under the best circumstances, the plant will not be operational until 2011.

Gas prices are also affected by the government's blender — in order to fulfill various air pollution reduction plans, gasoline sold in the U.S. has been fractionated into about 17 different boutique fuels. With three grades of gasoline, refiners produce more than 50 separate blends. This is expensive, as each blend must be transported separately, which limits pipeline and storage capacity. Moreover, it is difficult to replace supplies when there are disruptions and when refining capacity is taken off-line to clean tanks and pipelines when switching between winter and summer blends. Gas prices spike as a result.

Some argue that industry could increase capacity at existing plants, and that is being done. To help meet growing demand, the industry expanded capacity and improved operating efficiency at the remaining refineries. For example, refineries that operated at 78 percent of maximum capacity in the 1980s produce more than 90 percent of their potential output now. Yet demand still outpaces domestic supply.

First, the Arabs just started building a new refinery on the coast of Louisiana. Seven years ago there were 264 refineries in the U.S., but today there are less than 65 refineries in full time operation? Another thing, our corrupt legislator allowed the mergers of the major oil companies saying that that would increase computation, when in fact it has had just the opposite effect. Think about this ..... there are no major American owned oil companies. You have to remember that our (their) lap-dog legislator are taking bribes from the oil companies in the form of Campaign Contributions, so the question is, who are they working for, and why?!

The trucker's strike isn't just about a bunch of truckers pissing and moaning over a cup of coffee at some truck-stop because of fuel prices. Their lives are being effected just as all Americans are being effected becaise of out of control corruption in the government system. The strike is all about saving the nation from those who's only objective is to make big bucks off the backs of America's working class. Most of those bleed sucking oil companies that are eating our lunch are from other countries. There are no major American owned oil companies today.

This is a war, not some child's video game. We are in the middle of a conspiracy to lower our standard of living. Just look around ... how many Americans are doing better than they were seven years ago..... the only ones I can think of are the oil companies stock holder, and the crude oil speculators. Want really sets me off is that most Americans are just setting in front of their brain sucking tubes and whining like a bunch of whipped puppies over fuel prices. Again WE ARE AT WAR, but this time their not using bullet, their using oil, and if we loss this war we are going to loss our country, and America will sink into history.

We need to shut the nation's highways down on April 1st, and until Congress get it's ass in gear to bring all fuel prices drop..... or we are going to see things that will make this fuel problem look like a walk in the park. Food will continue to rise out of control. Americans need to understand that our nation is being set up for the "New World Order". Everyone out there needs to Google the "North American Union" .

Also .... Ethanol is a scam. It takes more energy to produce a gallon of ethanol than the energy that one gallon of ethanol produces, making it a no win for American drivers, but a great deal for Monsanto and farmer who have given up growing wheat to grow corn. Also, also, there are 17 custom blinds of gasoline used across the nation. We need to settle on one blind that fits all.

www.idontthinkso.us on the left is a link that says fuel petition please sign this, this is alot of what we are working towards folks if any of you are goin to the Mid-America Truck Show this week let me know we would be happy to meet with you and discuss all this in person. come put a face with a name......Thanks Dave

STRIKE ON MAY 5th DAMN IT!!!!

I'm updating this entry to make you aware that there are food riots going on around the world because of fuel prices ....... and flate out GREED! India now using armed troops to guard rice shippments inside India. The Indian government has also stopped all exports of rice grown in India because they see the future.....

Our legislators are allowing fuel prices to rage out of control while their retirement funds grow larger. SO what does their retirement pentions have to do with fuel prices. Local, state, and federal retirement investment funds are buying oil futures on the commodity markets. Insurance companies, banks, and hedge funds are driving oil prices through the roof, and million of people around the planet are going to die from their GREED. And don't think it won't happen here before long.

When oil was selling for $50 a barrel the speculators bought crude oil futurers which drove oil prices to $100 a barrel, and at that point they sold the oil futures making billions for the retirement funds and themselves. They bought back into oil futurers again when oil drop back to $89 a barrel. They will sell again when oil goes up to $110, and buy when it goes down again. Up, down, and all around, and they get rich while the working Joes gets screwed again. The real pisser is that those you elected are letting it happen, are turning their backs on America ...... AND THEY SHOULD IN FACT IMPEACHED AND THEN THROWN IN JAIL FOR RACKETEERING. HAS ANYONE ONE HEARD OF THE RICO LAWS RELATING TO CONSPIRICY TO COMMITTE A CRIME.

Biofuels are a rip-off .... doing nothing but rising food prices around the world.

If the trucker can't get it together and shut this nation down to make their point about fuel prices we're going to see food riots in this country, and soon!

Oh, one other thing there are three crude oil investors that made over $3,000,000,000 each last year on oil, corn, wheat, and rich futures. Yes they did!

Quote from a news article;
So we watch as a sporadic few show a fist of defiance. People, they are not taking a stand for their own self-preservation, they are trying to light the path for all of us to see the light. "end quote"

I believe that When it is all said and done it is only the truckers that can force a change to the disaster that is happening right now to our country, we are the only group that is small enough to come together yet powerful enough to make the politicians and greedy big business interests see the light!
The independents are doing what they can but it is going to take all truckers to unite and let them know we mean business, until that happens things are just going to get worse for everyone, we have been sold a bill of goods and its time that we all put a stop to this, the public is overwhelmingly in support of the truckers doing something some polls show as high as 80% which is remarkable as they also know what hardship they will suffer when the trucks shut down, but they also see that we are the only force strong enough to effect change for the better,
Its time for all truckers to stand up and unite to save this country from going the way that the USSR did ,open your eyes and get mad about what is happening to our country!!!
The next shutdown is scheduled for the first week of May it will be bigger than the one in April, so how about it EVERYONE independent and company driver alike just stop your rigs and do what is right for your country if we get together just once it will be enough ,too many people are hoping that this will just go away and causing the movement to grow slowly which is just making it more painful to the growing number of truckers and families that are working to restore some order out of this chaos,Do your part and work with your fellow Driver and help all American families.

Always have been, always will be now lets do it to it and shutem DOWN!
