Meritor trailer axle nut torque spec

For starters I can't get the axle model from the plate as it's worn off. The axle in question is on a 2007 Wabash dry van I just purchased. One wheel had a bad seal and I just got done replacing brakes and seal and re assembled but I'm not sure on the torque spec for this axle as I've only seen trailer axles with a inner adjusting nut and then the secondary final locking nut. This trailer only has one single nut and a cotter pin to lock it in place. I've been told 50 ft/lbs and back of 1/4 turn but I don't feel right so I figured I'd ask. BTW this axle hub has that thick slimy grease rather than the conventional oil hubs if that matters at all. Thanks for any help
