A group of mayors in Kentucky is currently deciding whether to support a proposal that would ban trucks from using the Brent Spence Bridge during rush hour.
According to the Cincinnati Post, the Kenton County Mayors Group is considering backing the proposal, which comes from Covington, KY, Mayor Butch Callery.
The twin span bridge brings Interstates 75 and 71 across the Ohio River between Cincinnati and Covington.
Statistics from the U.S. Department of Transportation rank the bridge as the seventh-worst in the nation for accidents.
