Looking for some help from all you Flatbed Haulers out there. In the process of possibly getting a Tarp Shop started. I have been in the Tarp business for 14 years now working for someone else.
One thing I've learned is that every Tarp shop out there says they've got you covered, Yeah Right! The problem is what they have you covered with doesn't hold up for long. With the introduction of foreign tarp material the days of tarps lasting 5 to 10 years are all but gone. When I started in the tarp business a Side Kit tarp would last a guy/gal 5 years. Now you are lucky if you can get 2-3 years out of one.
This brings me to my main question, because really It's All About You!
What do you look for in a tarp? Side Kit Tarp, Steel Tarp whatever.
I understand that the latest craze is the light weight tarp. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.
