Welcome to ODFL, I am currently training to be a linehaul driver there. I have 3 weeks left. To find out if you and your wife can stay in a truck with each other....lock yourselves in the bathroom of your house with some bottled water,,a jar of peanut butter and a loaf of bread for a week. If that works out for you...welcome to teaming...lol! I am going to be driving solo. ;)

it works for us we hunt, fish, camp, together all the time we been best freinds since the 6th grade every thing is out front if i can put up with a women bow hunter not seeing any deer for a week or not catching any fish. sitting in a truck watching idoits half kill themselves should be a breeze lol

Truck driving is not for everyone, but a lot of people would never do anything else. Expect the first year or so to be challenging as you learn to deal with the traffic, weather conditions, dispatch troubles, etc. Things get better when you gain experience and confidence, so hang in there!

I used to be a trainer for swift of all places, not to say your lady can't drive, but it's the thing of "Do you trust the person at the wheel while you're asleep?". I've had many students that I just laid awake for hours on end to "feel" how they did. Most were decent, some were good, but others made me flinch everytime they hit a bump or hit the brakes.Just remember 1 thing,The love you have for her is what will make or break the team when it comes to your wife, have patience and an open mind.
