Interesting case. Castle doctrine follows to one's car as well in Tennessee I know of no provision in the law setting aside a commercial vehicle. I'll have to look it up.

Have my permit anyways but interesting.

Even "prior" to Wisconsin being 2nd to last "behind" Illinois on "Conceal Carry" and take this from a guy who has lived "North" of Russel Road a time or 2 .

Wisconsin Constitution always covered "OPEN CARRY" basically ya could "Carry" though hadda be "exposed" and that's a over a "century" prior to "Conceal Carry" act of 2011.

Even under "Liberal" rule @AK7 understand that Wisconsin had some of the most "open" Gun Laws even looser than Texas "prior" to Conceal Carry and Castle Law also State Constitution "protected" RIGHTS "prior"..

Wisconsin is a "Hunting" hotspot and HUGE tourism destination dollars plus Up North and "Rural" Wisconsinites often "depend" on stocking their freezers for fresh meat.

"OPEN Carry" heck I could strap a 357 "holstered" and exposed or go to a "Rally" with my AK-74 shoulder strap "prior" to "Conceal Carry"

Now thats "State" Constitutional rights "forget" the big one.

@Sinister would know as well..

@Tazz if gun was out in "open" Wisconsin State Constitution protects "OPEN" Carry not even a Permit unlike a lot of ya so called "gun friendly" states...

Btw about Wisconsin State Constitution "OPEN Carry "....

Wouldn't just be carrying a gun around open just "anywhere" not a FREE PASS...

The "Cops" can still check ya out yet "clean" they return your piece and tell ya to move on.

Basically don't be a MORON and carry your Bushmaster in a Shopping Center or take your Glock to the Bank...

"Common Sense"

While I'm at it the "Bypass" for Pleasant Prarie Weigh Station...

Exit Tri State tollway at Russel Road past the US 41 merge....cant miss it there's a TA and a Peterbuilt dealership there you'll see the signs well ahead of Exiting...

Follow Russel Road "east" a mile or so to Kilbourne Rd...

Make left and Kilbourne to WI-165...

WI_165 make a left and back to Interstate 94
