Do you ever participate in the health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, and etc. that are sometimes offered at truck stops? Do you think these should be offered at more truck stops?

no, i do not because i have a regular driving job which keeps me home daily, and i can see my personal doctor on a regular basis.

however, for those drivers that don't have such a job as mine, i'd highly recommend this service, and more truckstops to provide them, if not for free, then of course for a "nominal" fee, which afterall, this service can be costly to administer. then, the drivers should be given all the test results right away on the spot, or they should at least be mailed to his/her home address.

high bolood pressure is a silent killer, and being aware of your blood pressure, and taking the proper meds, can extend our lives for many years. not to mention, we reduce the risk of a terrible debilitating stroke if not treated...........
