It's an F-150. Stripped down they're just over $40k. Loaded Platinum will top $70k
They are using the same type of side badging on the F150's now as the 250's up on the front quarter. That's why I though it was a 250. I paid $3k for my ordered '11 Platinum back in Aug. 2010. They've near doubled in price. Mine still sits in my driveway looking brand new with 60k on the clock.

That threw me off too.

They added that in the redesigned for the 21 model.

I looked at the sticker on that top rear one when I unloaded it period it has the 11,000 dollar tremor package on it, sticker was 65k.

I guess when you haul them, you could care less what they cost. Your interest is in the freight that takes care of your new truck payment.

Having been big truck shopping over the last month, I can tell you that inventory is at near ZERO. I've called dealers from Miami to Seattle and everywhere in between looking for a '21 or '22 Pete. Sleeper, day cab, anything. One dealer in Dallas told me that people were buying $220,000 tri-axle dump trucks and pulling the dump bodies and putting 5th wheels on them to get a truck to put on the road.

I just got a message today about my DEF sensor. Still 4-6 weeks out. I'm on the 4th week right now. The powers that be, are shunning the delete and tune. I would have done that the 3rd day after finding out the wait would be 2 months. $3000 and I would have been on the road already. The only way anyone would know is if a sniffer was put into the exhaust. Hell, Florida doesn't even check your lights and brakes. They sure aren't going to do a roadside emissions test.

Thats the lane alert/steering assist sensor.

My wife's Explorer told her to stop and drink coffee once when she veered a bit. 🙄

I see. It's like a Raptor Lite.

They had they 3.5 in a Raptor right before RAM came out with that TRX.

I imagine that was not a good meeting in the board room at Ford.
I imagine the Raptor will get a version of the GT500 motor. Gonna have to beef up some drivetrain components, though. The 10 speed will handle the torque, but the transfer and axles will need help.

The current iteration of the F150 with the 8 cylinder uses an 8 speed I think.

That's another reason I was hunting for the 3.5 with the 10. Better mpg and more towing. Not that I ever plan on maxing put on towing. And I drive too fast and have aggressive tires to max out mpg.

But they're nice ideas.

Anyway still better mpg than my 03 Dodge with the 5.9. Though I do miss that truck. Thing was a tank. I still see it driving around town.

I think those are just the parking sensors. There's another on the mirror, along with a camera, at least on the trucks. Can't remember if the Exploder has them, too.

My 2011 3.5 Eco is good on fuel considering it's a 6000# truck. It's the electric 6 speed with 3.15:1 rear cogs. It holds steady at 16 around town and 20-21 on the road at 70-75. It's rated at 365HP and 465 in the torque side. It will pull a 7000# boat effortlessly.

On mine those sensors are for reversing. On the wife's Explorer it has the self parking feature and it incorporates the front and rear cameras and sensors to parallel park itself. But the driver still has to control the braking action. She relies way too much on those cameras. I mostly use the camera on the p-cup for trailer connecting so I don't bend up my Challenger/Columbia tag.
