If I survive this, I’m hoping to be at a half marathon by the end of next year.

This will be a struggle. My plan to get ready for it was knocked backwards by my reaction to the covid vaccine. Blood pressure out of whack, kidney issues, and no lung capacity. Trying to work my way back to normal, then hit with a bad case of actual covid at the end of August. Almost hospitalized, only not hospitalized because I wouldn’t go.

Battling since to get back to normal.
Blame it on covid.

Yer just an old man.

Survived the 5k.

wife ran a 4:48 marathon. That was her first marathon, after 2-3 half’s, so she is pretty new to this. I think she finished 174 out of the entire field of hundreds, and 9th out of 19 in her age/gender group. Muscle cramp at mile 22 slowed her up a bit, but the girl she had been running with the entire race stopped with her and massaged out the cramp and they finished together. The other girl had ran multiple marathons, but it was her first in under 5 hours.

Probably go for a light walk/run today to work some soreness out.

Full disclosure, mine ended up being a run/walk. Just not getting the lung capacity up to be able to sustain a run for very long at all. Planning to be there by spring 2022 though.

Unloaded and now getting reloaded…

There’s a used (well used too) link belt crane they have to somehow get out of that hole and onto a 12 axle rig.

I’m just hoping to get up the road an hour or so by the end of today.

We finally got loaded today.

Some different shots of the house being picked up.

If anyone has an 80-ton trailer…. I know where there’s a load. This one was 158,000 lbs. the trailer was only rated for 150,000 for what was sold as a 130,000 load.

A ho hum day for me. Non ltl :)

Pulled in this tight spot with a similar barrier on the other side of me
rez.jpg

I had pulled in next to this guy that actually helped me blind side it as there was a nice drop off in the terrain ahead of us so we had to 90 degree it....
rez3.jpg

And wouldnt you know it when he pulled out he did this to my mirror.......

Luckily it just knocked it off tract, as I was able to slide it back into the track and there was virtually no damage.
