Ironman Loves to fish..soo he went out and it didn't take 4 hrs he calls and told me..don't freak out..you gotto bring me into the ER I got a piece of fishbone stuck into me..HUH? K..
He came home and he got "stung" by a catfish when he tried to get him off the hook..he could not pull it off no matter how hard he pulled..his friend came over and they had to cut the fin off..
So off we went to the Er..they tought just get a tweezers and pull it out..Nope..lanced it..not deep enough..got a surgeon look at it..took x rays..it is right into a tendon..lots of nerves around..it would cause to much damage to cut it out..he could have loss of motion in his hand..
sooo got a tewtanus, penecillin shot..10 days antibiotics and they hope his body either expelles or encases it..you would not believe how many fish jokes we had to go through..lol
We decided he need a safer hobby..maybe bear hunting?
