Amazon is opening massive fulfillment centers in booming places like Fargo. I swear that building is so big its going to have its own atmosphere.

"But where will the workers come from?", you ask.

Well, I tend to think there's a reason the Biden administration is doing nothing at the southern border. That's a pretty large workforce down there.

Also, they just imported a pretty large work force from Afghanistan.

Now all they have to do is build the town. Also, every place I go I see very little single family residential construction. Its all ridiculously large apartment buildings.

That's just my tin foil hat idea.

But I wonder what the exchange rate will be for Amazon Company Scrip to the US dollar.

Isn't housing somehow part of this 325340985274968437 trillion dollar spending bill that is being pushed through?

If ya go up I-94 North from the Illinois/Wisconsin Border there are 3 Amazon Facilities..

A big one right off Hwy 142 across from Golden Oil Travel Plaza in Kenosha..

About 10 miles north just outside of Racine is Amazon Sturtevant Facility..

About oh 15/20 miles north of that is Amazon South Milwaukee..

Basically in about 30/40 miles is 3 Amazon Facilities all along the Same Highway

The labor pool is much more dense in Racine Kenosha.

We are talking about Amazon basically inventing towns where there are none.

It's a significant shift over them previously building in established areas.

It will be interesting to see how they hold up to an economic crash, especially with today’s demands of higher wages.
I'm thinking the illegals and refugees will be paid in something akin to company scrip, housed in company towns, and work 100 hours a week.

We're talking about a VERY forward thinking company that's so large they have their own space program.

They're not acting in the moment. They're years ahead. By doing things our great grandparents saw.

My Facebook feed has been crowded with Amazon ads for regular groceries lately. Not crazy prices Whole Foods stuff.

Some things you just can't beat Amazon's price on. You have to comparison shop too.

I just bought 4 new tires for a classic that I just bought and I shopped them wherever they were available. No matter where you buy, you still have to pay $20/tire for mounting and balancing and valves. Amazon had the tires for $25/tire cheaper than anyone. The guys that do my big truck work said they'll put them on for me and get rid of the 20 year old tires that are on it now.

Amazon has also purchased "roof rights" in larger markets to have exclusive access to building roofs when drone deliveries become commonplace.

yeah, we are getting a huge Amazon center in my state, about 6 miles from my house. Amazon is footing the bill for new exit ramps, and wider highway lanes near there.

should get started on the construction, if i recall, in the spring of next year.

Look for an influx of foreign nationals taking up residence also.

They are also bound by labor laws. Laws that require a minimum wage.

If government is willing to overlook this conspiracy theory you are seeing here, we got far mor problems to worry about than factory towns.

The president has said he' gives not a shit about the constitution. You think labor laws matter to these people?

These people won't be here forever, and if they are, once again, we have much larger problems to be worried about.
