Hey all,
Not sure if this is the place to post it, but I have a problem with my Durabrite rims. While I was away on weekend, I hired a guy to detail my truck top to bottom, inside and out. He did a great job on my interior, and the exterior was decent, until I looked at the rims. I asked him what happened and he said he used straight acid on all six of my Durabrites "because they looked dirty." The finish is destroyed, and they don't clean up right anymore. My question to you is, is there any way to restore my Durabrite finish without having them taken off, completely stripped, and re-coated? I'm looking for the best value for my money on a working man's salary. Thanks!!!!
