New To Trucking Cutting through the BS here

Hello, I'm new to truck driving and have made the decision to go to one of those "We pay for your schooling" schools and I have two real choices, Swift and CRST. Has anyone here been through either of these programs and if so, what were some of the pros and cons of each?

Does anyone here have any insight as to which (if either) would be the better choice? Thanks

How much is the going rate dollar per mile for a load going from CA to NJ, TX, SC?
See them trying to get pawned off for $1.40-$1.60/ mile.

Not enough for me to put my truck on it.

I agree with @Mike , indentured servitude is probably a better term. Your essentially working off a debt but your being compensated in pay at the same time.
It's not even that. Indentured servants could be jailed if they walked away from the contract owners. In modern trucking, you just end up with a bill.
