SARASOTA, Fla. — Integrated Freight Corp. said Tuesday it had acquired Cross Creek Trucking, a Medford, Oregon-based refrigerated freight hauler. Terms were not disclosed, but the transaction was effective as of April 1 and was completed with a combination of cash, equity, and debt, IFC said.
In operation since 1986, Cross Creek was founded with just a few trucks and the goal of helping small farmers and receivers along the I-5 corridor. They have since expanded to a fleet of over 115 late model tractors, 170 refrigerated trailers, and 30 dry trailers with 2010 revenues of approximately $28 million, according to the IFC statement. Cross Creek currently serves customers across the country with a strong presence in Oregon, Washington, California, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, and Nebraska.
