Lancaster, Lima, Mansfield, Mentor among 40 locations nationally slated to be closed
Columbus will gain jobs at the expense of other Ohio cities as a trucking company trims 40 locations nationwide.
Con-way Freight, based in Ann Arbor, Mich., plans to close operations in Lancaster, Lima, Mansfield and Mentor, leaving 16 locations open in Ohio. The Columbus operation, located at 2625 Westbelt Drive on the West Side, will remain open and pick up some of the workers displaced by the closings, said spokesman Gary Frantz.
