INDIANAPOLIS — For the second consecutive year, Celadon Trucking Services has been selected among the ‘Best Places to Work in Indiana’ by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

“Receiving this recognition from the Indiana Chamber for two years in a row is tremendous honor,” said Celadon President Tom Glaser. “As a business, it means that we are doing the right things for our employees.”

During the past year, Celadon implemented its ‘Highway 2 Health’ program which provides employees with an onsite medical team that includes a nurse practitioner to handle minor medical problems such as colds, strains and sprains. In addition, the program offers health screenings and nutrition classes.

“Our chairman, Steve Russell, has a mott ‘Life is good when you can’t wait to get to work and you can’t wait to get home,” said Glaser. “I am proud that Celadon is a place where people enjoy working.”

Some Celadon Drivers however will disagree with Steve Russell as will some FORMER Dispatchers in Waxahatchie, Texas, Nashville, TN., and the People of the Charlotte, NC Trailer yard all of which have been ELIMINATED because of Celadon trimming their hedges.
Dispatching of the Wax., TX., and Nashvl yards/terminals have been absorbed by Indianapolis.

sounds like they are downsizing to me. more and more companies are doing this or will be doing so soon.
