Maybe you lucked out but freight rates from MA and NH are less then $2.00 per mile. The girl that I pay to find me loads is a broker/dispatcher for U.S. Express and I also have a friend who is a broker for Landstar. Customers are not stupid. They don't just call one broker and say ok, I'll pay $20,000. They call them ALL. When all is said and done, one of the big boys like TMC, Swift or others will take that load for $1.80 in a heartbeat just to get their truck the Hell out of that crap hole.


And by the way, I grew up in Leominster.
