I suppose so, but a picky receiver would question it too. Worst case is having a load rejected. It depends on his knowledge of how the receiver would react to it.

Why not spend $10 at the truckstop for a package of legit seals?

If the company that they work for has company IDs, then take a picture of the shippers ID with the zip tie

You mean Ontario isn't the only flatbed driver who asks extremely dumb questions? 😅🤣

Any receiver with an IQ over 75 is going to either reject the load or make the driver wait until every piece is counted and inspected.

And yes you can remove a zip tie without breaking it. Just lift up on the little locking tab with a micro screwdriver and it slips right off.

That's assuming your thief doesn't have his own zip ties and a sharpie. 🙄
