A first job idea

Just got my class A CDL and looking for that first job.

I live in Montana and it isn't the trucking capital of the country, so I was thinking about staying with my Aunt in Missouri for a few months and trying to get a job there?

Maybe get my 3-6 months solo training in with a company that does hire in Montana?

If I like the company and the job, maybe just move the wife to Missouri and too hell with Montana

Just an idea?

If you prefer to live in Montana, I would look to find a job with a company that gets there regularly.

If you really don't have a big preference and find you like Missouri, then I would look seriously into moving.

If you're willing to move...

Go to West Memphis, AR. Every national carrier in the USA has a terminal and/or hauls to and from there, daily. You could take your pick of carriers.

Go visit first, to make sure you can handle it.
