Seriously, brother, you don't have to automatically assume the extremes every time somebody comes up with an idea you don't agree with. Why not offer an alternate solution, rather than respond with an abhorent scenario and then accuse someone of being in support of it?
The fact is, mental and emotional health issues have to be addressed. How that is done is what needs to be debated. It is obvious to anyone that allowing nutcases to just roam the streets freely is killing people. This policy is killing children. But, no, it's easier to attack the rights and beliefs of peaceful, law-abiding citizens than to step up the game and go after the root of the problem: Mental and emotional illnesses... because if we do that, we might be stepping on somebody's rights.
