so i know that the new raptor can tow 8200 but for those of you who own one can it tow an 70 comfortably without struggling up hills?

Is that all? 8200? My '11 F150 with 3.5 twin turbo and V-6, six peed with 15,000# paykload and 15k capacity is rated at 4200/465 ft. pds of grunt .

Buddy has a 2020 raptor he’s looking to sell so he can get a 2023.

I considered buying it until he and I started talking the trailer etc to want to pull…

I got me an XLT 302A F150 instead which gave me heated seats.

You don't get heated seats in a Raptor?? I thought that was the top of the line over the HD edition. I have a Platinum which gave everything Ford offers, Heated and A/C seats. Even a heated steering wheel which I've never used.

I tow a camper. The raptor has no capabilities to tow it. Even the lariat, platinum and King Ranch don’t have the tow capacity.

My XLT is bare minimum to be able to. I have yet to see a “1/2 ton” truck with a greater than 2000+ lb payload rating. But they do exist.

Been keeping an eye out for one.

To get that package though one needs to find a 157” WB in an XL or XLT line.

Mine is a 2011 with the 3.5 EcoBoost, 6 speed autobox and 3.15:1 rears. Rated for 11k. I never had a towing issue.

I had the 5.0 in a 2015 XLT and towed my diesel home with it. It didn't feel it back there. That was probably only 6-7k total though.

My brother in law used it to tow their 5th wheel. I don't have pics of the whole setup. It wasn't a monster of a camper but it was still pretty big for an '86 to pull. It wasn't running quite right back then and the pedal had slack in it so they couldn't even get full throttle out of it.

Had a rental car with heated seats that came on AUTOMATICALLY if freezing..

Hadda remember to shut em off or about 5 miles up the road my @$$ would be "burning"

Ford think it was an Eco-Sport I believe
