I, ummmmm, usually don't worry about that too much!Lol. I was referring to staying under gross.

And all red white and blue too.
Hard to believe something like that could happen.A friend of my wife's, her and her husband own an HVAC company, probably the best one in town. They rent storage to have a place to keep all their specialised equipment. The Storage Company accidentally auctioned off their storage unit, instead of the one next to them, for non-payment. Approximately $45,000 worth of equipment.
I have a hard time wrapping my head around how you could be so reckless as to not double and triple check whose stuff you were auctioning off.
I told them that while I don't care for lawyers, this is the time to get one involved. They basically put them out of business, it's not time to play nice.Hard to believe something like that could happen.
Looks like the storage company owes your friends $45,000 plus.
I would imagine they would suffer some loss in business due to not having their equipment available.
If the money is available, how quickly could they replace this equipment? Is it even all readily available at the moment?I told them that while I don't care for lawyers, this is the time to get one involved. They basically put them out of business, it's not time to play nice.
Don't know, but I wouldn't bet on replacing all of it quickly. If the money is available, how quickly could they replace this equipment? Is it even all readily available at the moment?
The soot around the end of the pipe wouldnt be too hard to miss, but your engine will sure thank yaI guess when you haul them, you could care less what they cost. Your interest is in the freight that takes care of your new truck payment.
Having been big truck shopping over the last month, I can tell you that inventory is at near ZERO. I've called dealers from Miami to Seattle and everywhere in between looking for a '21 or '22 Pete. Sleeper, day cab, anything. One dealer in Dallas told me that people were buying $220,000 tri-axle dump trucks and pulling the dump bodies and putting 5th wheels on them to get a truck to put on the road.
I just got a message today about my DEF sensor. Still 4-6 weeks out. I'm on the 4th week right now. The powers that be, are shunning the delete and tune. I would have done that the 3rd day after finding out the wait would be 2 months. $3000 and I would have been on the road already. The only way anyone would know is if a sniffer was put into the exhaust. Hell, Florida doesn't even check your lights and brakes. They sure aren't going to do a roadside emissions test.
Personal vehicles are a pain in the ass. They used to pay well enough to make it worth your while.
All that matters is that I get to see cool cars. Doesn’t matter how much extra work it makes for you guys, lol.Personal vehicles are a pain in the ass. They used to pay well enough to make it worth your while.
I seen a guy with a single axle sleeper Cascadia pulling a 3 car, single axle wedge today. They don't pay anymore because of the cut-throat brokers that are trying to load these trucks for less that $1.00 per mile per vehicle. Then you see the equipment and it will barely hold up that Bug-Eyed Sprite because they are so rusted. All of the elite carriers are doing the Concourse shows now. Screw the private buyer that needs a car moved. I ended up with a guy with a single car enclosed box for $1700. At least I know it won't go up and down on a rack 5 times before it gets here. Due Friday morning at 08:00.
Yeah, I’d like to have about 10 of them mounted on the back of my trailer that way I could burn the nose hairs off of tailgaters.@Mike is familiar with them..
