New To Trucking Crash did not appear on my PSP report.

Had a minor at-fault collision at a truck stop. Minor damage to us, virtually no damage to other vehicle but we still called the police. I checked my PSP report a couple weeks later to see if anything was there, nothing was. Clean record. The date of the most recent MCMIS data snapshot on the report was the day after the collision occurred... so it should have been there, right?
It will not appear on my MVR since no ticket was issued, correct?

Are there any databases besides MCMIS/PSP and your MVR that companies use for pre-employment screening where there would be a record of this incident?

I should be getting CSA points for this, right? If so, how many?

The police showed up on private property, most likely just did a report as a courtesy. Probably wouldn’t have any affect on you.

That said, the company that you drive for has it on your file and if somebody requests employment verification that accident will likely show up on their employment verification.

It might be on your DAC report.

How long ago did this happen?

Might wanna check it again. 1 day may not be enough for that to grind its way through whatever system it has to before it lands on your report

It all depends on if your employer actually reported it to hireright.

8/26 and most recent MCMIS data snapshot on the report was 8/27.

Individual drivers do not get a csa score. That’s a company rating only.

Your employer has to subscribe to the database and has to report it for hireright to report it.

A vehicle leaves by a wrecker.
A person leaves by ambulance
A person leaves in a hearse.

Commonly referred to as “a hook, a hearse or a nurse”

For all the inspections, accidents, etc I’ve been through, it quickly became a waste of my time, money, and effort to try and pull my PSP. I’d had 14 inspections and 2 accidents, one fatality and a tow away, and never once have I seen anything reported on my personal PSP.

Now my business CSA score is a different story.

Pretty much.

If it’s a smaller carrier, most don’t/won’t use hireright or dac.

A PSP can only be used during a pre employment screening, It can not be used by someone already employed with a company. Are you planning on switching companies? @mndriver is 100% correct. CSA is only reported as a company whole. And a crash indicator will not show unless there is a fatality a injury or a vehicle had to be towed away. In other words not all fender benders are considered a DOT re portable accident. If you are an owner operator with a DOT number you can have a CSA score. Csa scores are assigned by DOT number.
