I mean have at it.Aw, c'mon! Polish those tanks and wheels and let that 'dog' strut. You have nothing else to do while the impact gun is easing down the landing gear.
I hate backing into a building because I can't see shit. The tractor is outside in the daylight and your pupils are adjusted for bright light but you're looking into a dark building.
Yeah that was actually the first time I ever did that, and I was concerned for the same reason. They had some faded yellow lines so I just followed those.I hate backing into a building because I can't see shit. Some places have runway lights to guide you in but most don't.
I wonder if anyone will come up with a solution for that.
Back in the age of sail, "pirates" would wear an eye patch. It wasn't because they lost an eye in a sword fight. It was to keep one eye's pupil dilated so they could remove the eye patch and see immediately when they go below decks while raiding merchant ships. Otherwise their victims would take advantage of their momentary blindness and attack them immediately, before their eyes could adjust to the darkness.
Pretty simple solution.
But it won't help when looking into the dark abyss of an indoor loading dock while you're still outside.
Yeah I know that but some places are physically impossible. You get used to the length of the truck. You end up backing a 300" W/B just like a 200" W/B. It's a matter of knowing your equipment.
Storeroom dock at the power plant in Dagsboro is like that. Pain in the ass. Gotta hit it right from the get cuz you cant see the dock til most of the trailer is insideI hate backing into a building because I can't see shit. Bircho’s MIA?Hey...with Birchy being MIA, someone has to break your stones.
Nice thing about this one is there are 4 docks, one trailer probably permanently on each end, and two open in the middle with only one having a dock plate. So unless there's a trailer with a lift gate in there you always have 2 spots to get it right.Storeroom dock at the power plant in Dagsboro is like that. Pain in the ass.
