Where is Mike? Where is he going? Don't ask him, he's probably lost.

At least you're getting something good out of your money

I’m afraid to ask what thats like to deal with

Front facing radar. Side facing radar lane alert thing that can only be turned off for 15 minutes, so basically you spend all day hitting that button.

This truck will completely STOP for an object, then start going again once the object is gone.

It’s the closest thing to a driverless truck you’ll get without actually being driverless.

I will say they do ride quite smooth and this DT12 shifts nicely. Since they’re forcing automatics doen our throats too...

That said, @Mike I would not hesitate to buy a used WMPF truck. I’d aim for a 17, and later this year some 18s will be on the market. Those were all still manuals. Usually they go out the gate at about 650k miles.

The usually end up at Taylor and Martin.

I think I posted about it in the used trucks section or maybe the Walmart section last summer.

When I get out of this truck, it will be a new truck. Maybe a one year old truck if the market is weak enough that the discount is worth it.

#6 liner dropped, head has some sort of surface damage, cam bearing wear.

Parts ordered today, rebuilding with reman head and injectors.

Looks like I will be sheltering in place at home for another week, lol.

Where are you located, and what do you sell?
I'm in Clearfield, PA, just off of Exit 120 on I-80, but we have 20 locations
We're a Peterbilt/International dealer, but we typically have quite a few late models from most of the major manufacturers.

What kind of miles did you have on that motor?

They doing counterbores? probably ought to do them all if it dropped a liner. That's also very early for camshaft issues. You should have the bull gear done while they have it apart, too.

Yes in the counterbores, no on the bull gear.

The bearing wear is likely attributed to the last time it was assembled. The engine will never be touched in that shop again.
