update been here 4 years 5 months. dont know what to do, had an interview today running produce upper midwest ND,SD,MN,WI northern IL (champagne and north), the UP, thunder bay over to Regina,SK and eastern mt and eastern NE. couple things im considering this for.
1. our health insurance has gone through the roof in the last 2 years to the tune of 960/month for the family use to be around 425. this new job would cover 100% of medical cost
2. the company im with now puts up to 5% match into the 401k, the company i interviewed with puts 10,000 in a year in regardless.
3. ive pretty much topped out where im at pay wise 87K-ish however the(AGI) is closer to 70k. the company I interviewed with starts out at 100K (26.74 per hour and $.6366 per mile) union scale start out at top).

anybody have any advise? I like where im at,have a good owner and great terminal manager however im a money hungry guy. wife currently stays home with the 3 kids(5,2,7months) obviously 30k gross can go a long way, yes i know only a fool trades his life for money.

Not that bad been doing it for years except I shoot for 72.5(our breaks are paid here) focused on 1 goal and 1 goal only. Mortgage free by 34 (almost 31)then im out

And you will have missed the best years of your kids as life.

Used to think the same thing. Never got to watch my kids take their first steps were there first day of school.

i figure if I gotta work 6 i did somethin wrong 70 in 5 is enough, i sleep like a rock by friday night usually somewhere between 12-15 hours if were not up at the lake usually try to pull a 16 on monday so friday is short
