How’s Maggie doing?
Had a little scare a couple of weeks ago. She was sick to her stomach four times within an hour. I ran her in to the vet, where she got a shot of something that stopped it, plus some subcutaneous fluids because she was dehydrated. A bigger dog, I wouldn't have been so fast to spend the $125, but it takes so little to throw a tiny dog's electrolytes out of whack.

She's doing great, now. Slowly putting on weight. Dr. said feed her spaghetti and any other carbs she'll eat to speed up her weight gain a little. She's still very thin, but at least you can't count her ribs and vertebrae from across the room anymore.

She so funny.. She loves to bounce around and play chase me-chase you. That's her favorite game. And she's become quite the accomplished beggar. She sounded like she was dying of a broken heart the other night when I had some teriyaki chicken in the truck. Sooo pathetic.. but too damn cute to ignore.

As soon as she puts on a few more ounces, I can get her shots done and get her licensed.

I have not seen one single word online or on any local bulletin boards about a lost dog matching her description. Makes me sick that people would be so heartless. I hope I never find out who had her before.

Have you looked into any of the rice/meat/veggies diets for dogs?
