IMA KEEP IT REDNECK
So I wanted to share my adventures in eating. I probably won’t bring majesty to places like Anthony Bordine but, I can tell ya where good eats are. As I hit places that are my Faves and try new places along the way I’ll post about them let y’all know what’s up in different cities I run to.

I’m in Council Bluffs Iowa tonight. If you get to town park at Sapps or The Pilot and make a little one block stroll up to The Salty Dog. Amazing food and good flowing drafts. The little hole in the wall bar and grill is a very laid back atmosphere. Locally owned and operated they feature wings and sandwiches side fixin’s, salads and soups and appetizers and wings that will knock your socks off! They have a few local craft brews on tap that rotate as well as the basic group of domestics. And a full bar if something harder is more to your liking.

Seriously if you get here, try it out. And I am here frequently if you’d like to meet up shoot me a pm and let me know when you’ll be in town and I’ll see if I can line it up.

Salty dog is good..
Always stop if I'm in the area.

Checkered flag bar and grill.
Walcott Iowa.
Right behind grandma's kitchen next to the pilot.

LuLu's bar and grill Watkins, Colo. By the tomahawk ts.
Loaded nachos are the bomb. You can also cook a steak on one of the outdoor grills.

Baltimore 1/2 mile from the TA. Angle Inn...good food. And ice cold beer. Why anybody eats at the TA is beyond me.

Beloit, wi.... by the pilot
Patti's road dog pub.

Mauston wi.by the kwik trip.
Andjeros pub. Good food and you can bowl too.

Hadn't been in a while, but love the Salty Dog! How long you in town? Probably going to reset in Sioux Falls this weekend if the oldest will be around, but I'll be around all next week.

Omaha...drop your trailer, and bobtail over to the convention center area - it's less than a mile if you take a right out of the Sapp Bros parking lot past the fuel islands. There are numerous restaurants through there.

Oh we will get to places in Omaha. I’m here frequently man. I get around this area. This just happened to be the first place I went to when I got in town. I had an idea to do some reviews and post some pics. Because a lot of folks will pull in and stop and just eat at the truck stop not knowing the little gems in the rough close by.

Morris IL - R Place

At the TA, you expect, well... "TA food." R Place is an independent restaurant, that has nothing to do with the TA brand. The menu is a R Place creation, and couldn't be more different from the TA and Petro brands.
