The way you get TV and internet at home is about to change drastically — for the better

verizon is the first to launch 5G i'm signing up tomorrow :)
Bell has something similar. I refuse to do business with Bell.
You can move you T.V. to any room. Oh come on now!
That is about as stupid as when you call cable tech and they ask if your T.V. is plugged in? Oh, come on now! Who in the **** unplugs their T.V. from the time they move in to the time they move out?:dunno:

you'll get a free modem and router
3 free months of youtube tv
you'll be able to choose bewteen an apple tv 4k or a google chrome cast ultra
and i don't know what other perks there giving off hand but i am thinking there taking a hit just to get service in homes

A Google Dongle will let you cast anything on the net to your T.V.
Netflix, Youtube, anything you are subscribed to. Only a one time payment for the Dongle for around $40.00

verizon will come out cheaper in the long run compared to what i pay now for internets. and my cable co charges to upgrade speeds:mad:. to get the 400 mbps it's 50.00 activation fee for them to push a few buttons on the computer and to get the gigabit service it's a 200.00 upgrade fee. i can't wait to tell em to:thefinger: themselves

You laugh but stupidity knows no bounds. I used to install/repair their satellite service years ago. I cannot tell you how many service calls I rolled out to where all they needed to do was change the input on the TV or plug in an HDMI cable but they were too stubborn to listen to the person on the phone. It literally would take longer to write up the paperwork than to spot the ignorance.

The steps are stupid and ridiculous to most anyone with more than two functioning brain cells but they're there because you know........lowest common denominator.

The router may be free but the service is not.
yea so and your point is. my point is at the end of the day i will come out cheaper with faster and better internet. wouldn't you like to tell bell to go screw:confused-96:. and how much is your crappy internet a month now:confused-96: more than likely it's prob slow and over priced with shitty customer service. and verizon is doing it to bring in competition wich is something that lacks in merica with all of these mergers going on and corperate takeovers

it has nothing to do with taking your t.v. in the damm bathroom :D. when was the last time you looked around and seen everyone with there heads buried in there damm phones:confused-96:. people want there content on the go now!!! and you would be surprized at how many old people unplug shit from there t.v. and forget how it goes back in. i knew an old ladt that unplugged everything in her house because she thought that she was saving on the power bill

You keep jumping or claiming to jump from service to service that I'm doubting you make the money you make.

People with plenty of it don't tend to hassle themselves like that. Especially just to save a few dollars.

Especially that whole i8 thing. You had one and it was the best thing ever then suddenly it's gone because it was crap. Meantime we only ever saw stock/generic photos.

But whatever. You're easily scrolled past.

Years ago had one of those little 5 inch batteryoperated camping black n white radio combos in the bathroom for Football Season

no 1 you don't even know me. and who says it's about saving a few bucks it's half the cost of the crappy cable co. and really who says its about saving a few bucks. it's about a product that's a 100 times better with a 100 times better customer service. i'll jet you belive that i never owned the i8 when i can go into the stealership and have them get all of the paperwork
what ever easily ignored click

It's called a "loss leader." A standard sales tactic to get something new out, and into consumers hands. They make their money off of later sales.

Ain't nothing new. Used to run across that with the first PCs, printers and RS232 cables...

Are you really, really sure the data cable is plugged in??

The router may be free but the service is not.

Ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

Robert Heinlein

Routers are cheap when you buy a million each batch. Service is a recurring charge. Once they've got you hooked (router required as bait - more effective than worms) the cash comes rolling in.

ka CHING!!
