ok also clue us in on why the environuts are worried about the earth running out of lithium :confused-96:. when it's also used in other applications
I didn’t know that was a concern. I just think it’s funny they all about saving the planet and the have miles wide, miles deep strip mines, which they protest creating more damage to the earth to get some of the product to make their precious hybrid cars.

it has been brought up about the lithium running out personally i don't care!!! to be honest we can only do so much to save the planet!!! i think it's funny when they start crying that fuel prices went up because there not consuming as much:cool:. would i buy another hybrid sure i would i like fast cars and a prius is out of that question. and toyota really should ramp up it's hybrid tech as it seems dated to me. there's super cars out there going freeway speeds or faster getting prius mpg's a bmw i8 and a mclaren p1 going freeway speeds will give prius mpgs;). the one thing i find amusing and funny is that half of them don't realize is that the freaking planet has been changing for decades:biglaugh::coocoo::confused-96:. i was in burbank one day and jay leno was in his eco jet id'e be curious to see what the MPG'S are on that thing:eek::stare1:

Do you actually think people USING more gas makes the prices lower?

Also, @GAnthony yiu started a thread about Walmart being doomed.

Walmart doomed.....

To the best of my knowledge I still have my job.

Walmart online sales are up 40%.

They just spent god knows how much investing in employee education.

I’ll ask again, what do you have against companies?

Answer that. Offer some insight instead of just bantering about nothing.

Also, you have no clue wtf you’re talking about.

at another website i am a member of, there is much distention amongst the ranks, of corporate cutbacks on the driver side.

i am not reading anything of value, except to come to a conclusion, that it'll all soon end for the walmart fleet.

Walmart was definitely behind the curve on online sales. But that could be said about a lot of brick and mortar type companies. Are they counting online grocery sales in that figure?

The Walmart near me is not managed very well and at this point the store comes off as dirty. Now the one farther up the road in Hanover, Pa is a real nice store.

I read up on investing as a hobby and have bought shares in a few companies. I’ve looked at Walmart off and on from time to time. I almost bought some a few years ago but didn’t pull the trigger. It’s not a bad investment for sure. Do they offer employees a stock program?

What you read on TTR should be taken with a grain of salt. There are several over there who get on to post crap and nothing else.

Walmart PF is going nowhere. In fact, they’re hiring at many locations.

Results

Also, Tesla isn’t going anywhere as long as it’s subsidized, and as long as the US has a vested interest in energy independence.

Regarding online sales, Walmart’s are up 40%.

Walmart is also forced to morph into something it never envisioned, and it’s doing a fair job of it, IMO.

Walmart is a decent customer for us. Pretty steady. Busy as snot during the seasons.

They had to lay aside their egos, rearm, and regroup.

Wouldn't surprise me if driver pay was lowered because they had to take on more yayhoos to fill demand, and yayhoos aren't worth as much.

Eg we used to be a pretty um... I dunno the word... upstanding? group but demand exploded and the quality of new drivers dropped. Still have the core of us but as a fleet we are watered down.

Makes it easier to stand out in a good way though.

the board/stock holders i do believe denied his bid to buy them out, why would you include tesla in a walmart thread..???

stay focused on one thread at a time. afterall, that's what WE were warned about...

and for that matter, many things posted on this site, can be taken as well with that proverbial "grain of salt"...

I was alluding to your general dislike of large companies and trying to find out why.

You still haven’t answered that.

Oh gotcha.

Do you deliver in that area? A couple of the Spanish guys I work with go to the tata bar in Littlestown. One of the other guys I work with lives in Littlestown. I picked up street lamps in Littlestown once but I can't remember the name of the place.
