as long as you are paying for the training, they cannot hold you or your paycheck for ransome when you up and quit. CRST is much like any other company. sometimes you'll run hard, sometimes you'll sit at the truckstop waiting on a load. take it for what you can, learn as much as possible, do your job as best you can each and every day. who know's, you might actually stay there a while. keep us updated. good luck.:beep:

thanks 4 the reply

Welcome to you, and good luck with CRST. Pay attention, take it slow, and learn all you can for your money. You'll have plenty of time later to fine-tune your career. Welcome to the Forum, and Welcome to the RoadGang......Have An Awesome Day:beep:

thanks 2lilboots for your reply , there maybe be a change in plans i am turning my info in to watkins/ shepard ..... i will see how that goes , i hear a lot of good thing about this company ...

CRST is a Ok company. You will have to put up with a lot of bull for the first year or two . Low wages and crappy loads. Don't leave a lot of foot prints (jumping from one company to another) won't look good on your driving record (dak report). And please don' set around with a bunch of CRST drives and listen to them gripe about the company.Grass will always look greener on the other side. Most are not much different then the other one. Driving is a good job but its up to you to make it that way.
Your dispatcher will know what kind of driver you are and if you a goof off guess what. (Bad Loads or call me back nothing now) Trucking can be a very lonely life and the rewards and thak you can be far and few.
Now You didn't say weather your married or not. Please don't forget how much your lady misses you. She will setting for days at a time just waiting for your call. And a lot of drivers don't seem to care she's just the old lady at home.
She is not the old lady she"s your LADY .
Now you will find its not hard to get drugs on the road. Please walk away. I didn't when I was a rookie driver and now I'm paying for it. (enlarged heart) IT IS NOT COOL. If you need help just send me a private message I'LL DO MY BEST TO HELP YOU. I have 4 million miles and am retired. Take car friend Danny in Arkansas

PS Do not quite and leave a truck on the road. That will put a end to your driving career.
