With more than 26,000 active service men and women serving in hostile zones in Afghanistan and Iraq alone, truckers dug deep during the 2014 OOIDA Truckers for Troops campaign and raised $52,528 to provide care packages for our military personnel.

The goal of each Truckers for Troops campaign is to raise more than the previous year, facilitating more care packages each year. That goal was reached once again this year.

Still falling short. That's $2 for each service member deployed.

Pathetic.

If each trucker on the road put in a single dollar, each military member would be able to get a care package worth a little over $55. Still not perfect, but much better.
