A truck driver shared viral video of a heated exchange between himself and police officers who want him to leave a parking lot. A series of videos capturing the driver’s encounter with police in Indiana was recently shared by TikTok user deadpoolking14.

He lost.

Eventually got removed.

There’s like 5 parts to the video and I stopped watching in the first 5 seconds.

People think they have the right to go/do whatever they want, when they want with no respect for others property.

From what I garnered, security asked him to move from a no parking spot and he refused. So they called LEO.

And it devolved from there.

So they're cracking down on invent-a-spots?
Sometimes they need to. There are truck stops that you can literally get trapped in because of this.

This video is just a good lesson in what "not to do". Even if he had a legitimate beef, he needed to stop telling people to call the DOT or whatever, and he needed to call them himself. At the very least, he might have been able to get an escort to another location, possibly a decent safehaven that the cops knew about.

You can't just put the truck wherever you want.

I'm not arguing against it I just wasn't sure why they were trying to move him since it looks like a PFJ.

Here's one where one of the cops threatened in the first few seconds to knock his window out. 🙄

Then what, Barney? What's that solve? Sometimes I think cops send several of them just to raise their collective IQ.

Theres several videos in that series but I didn't see one with an ending.

At one point they ask him if he'd already paid to park. As far as his actual parking I can't really tell of he's in an invent a spot or not. And I often wonder what authority cops actually have on private property. I guess that depends on the municipality.

So what PFJ in Indiana where it snows is pay to park?

The rest of this guys profile seems to be to get himself into stupid situations then play the victim. Apparently at one point he bought fake jewelry and make a bunch of videos about that.

This is just a typical dumbass who fails to understand being out of hours doesn't give you the right to trespass. And 95% of truck drivers who watch this are cheering his dumb ass on thinking he's in the right.

If the idiots make enough noise, maybe they'll get some kind of flexibility added to the personal conveyance definition or something.

Large groups of morons have been fairly good at getting government's attention lately if you ain't noticed. 🙄

Because it's the government's fault he ran out of hours the moment he stopped at the Pilot.

Seriously? that flexibility is already there.
No it isn't.

With some ELDs, if he's in an invent-a-spot he can't even move to a "legal" parking spot without interrupting his break

It's there. 100% flexibility is there. It's so flexible that it makes gumby look like a stiff. If a driver can't move, it's because of his/her company, not any flexibility in the rules.
