It's never gonna work for the tractor itself. You'll be lifting the tires that you need traction on off the ground.

Good if you're Australian and have 90 trailer axles to work on though.

Seriously though, assuming it's on firm level ground, it ain't going anywhere unless it gets hit by another truck trying to park beside it or some other huge force.

I wouldn't want to be too close when someone is backing them up though. One side could slip a little bit and either shoot out horizontally towards the rear of the trailer, or not reach it's flat spot at the same time as the other one.
 
I think it would be an excellent tool for changing tires but, then again it probably takes the same amount of time for the air jack to raise the axle.
