I have a Thermo King b100 with electric standby.

I want to mount it I need a 6 by 12 trailer and go down the road and cool

Thermo King says I need 80 amps to make it run how can I get 80 amps to the unit without hooking it to my battery on my truck? Thank you have a great day

Not possible unless your going to mount a generator on your trailer to run the all electric reefer unit. Otherwise you’d add a two pin connector to run power and ground from your batts on your truck to the unit on the trailer.

Yes I'm going to mount a generator to my truck. According to ohm's law it runs 12-volt DC at 80 amps so a 4000 generator would that work it would only be 8 amps AC?
