New drivers what they do best, hit things, run over things.

The SAD PART for me @patriciajnsn is that as "Rookie" driver I never "wrecked" $h!T....sure I was NAIEVE as "bleep" and Couldn't BACK a Tight Hole to save my life..."usually" somebody else would SPOT ME and afew PUSHY "impatient" types who just couldnt WAIT another 2 or 3 pullups PLUS a "GOAL" n had me jump Out and Slammed it in.....BUT as a NEWB I didn't WRECK anything....

Almost "ALL" my DINGS came as a "SEASONED" Driver....

Some of it was "EXHAUSTION" others were LAZINESS and "Complacency"

I have never hit anything either.I think most of what happens today is because of poor schools, poor training and companies dont care as long as insurance approves them.We have way more steering wheel holders then professional drivers and getting worse every day.Lets face it the majority of so called truck drivers can't drive, can't read signs can't read maps ask questions that should have been taught in school or during training. Then you get trainees that think they know everything then you get the ones that doesn't ask questions during training.A bunch of stupid ignorant ppl on the road today.

Afew years Back I tanked the EYE TEST and was Forced to finally get GLASSES and on my License and Med Card I am "Required" to be wearing my "GLASSES" even in AT HOME driving my Pickup or old raggetty Taurus on My "Own" Time.....

My son had to get a physical right after the registry went into effect.
I told him to get it done early but nobody listens to me.
:(
A NURSE told him she didn't like the sound of his cough when she checked him for hernia so he had to go see a lung specialist to get cleared.
Then he had to go back and get cleared by the nurse because she was the initial contact.
Of course she was off for the two days after he got cleared by the lung specialist...
:stare1:
He lost a week's work plus he spent $400-$500 out of pocket to get the stupid physical.
What a pant-load!!

OOIDA has a site set up for reviewing those who perform DOT physicals.
It's getting rave reviews and may tip you off to an A-hole facility where they push 'value added' services.

D.O.T. Doc

Most company guys do not get a choice. We can choose from two different clinics.

Maybe one or both clinics are on the site...
It's worth a look.
Might save you from having to read them the riot act...
AGAIN!

Down here it is the old curmudgeon that is po'ed at Walmart for making him go get certified, or the ditzes at the AFC that can not even administer a post accident DOT panel test properly.
