Smooth Traffic Flow From a "Common Sense" Stand-Point

I already know ya people already think I lost my ever-loving mind..

But I have made some actual observations worked this out in my skull too..

I was gonna write off a nasty letter the Streets & Highway Deparment..

Stay with me now Im laying out everything here on the "FORUM"

Stop Lights can be "Sychronized" smooth steady flow of traffic too dont make everybody have to slam the brake pedal through the floor boards every 5/6 blocks

Dont forget a Big Truck loaded or a Bus needs roughly a quarter 1/3rd a mile at Highway Speed to ease into a Stop..

Left Turn Arrows Cycles All Major Intersections have Left Turn Arrows..

Run the Cycles "Wisconsin" even "Screwier about it put a "Red Arrow" late night aint nothing coming "F-You" Im outta here Im going not waiting another cycle no traffic "BLINK EM" that late at night "Bye" see ya..

I dont know why most other places blink the stop lights late night but Wisconsin runs full signal cycles 4 no traffic dont make no sense

During the daylight half a dozen 10 cars stacked up the Left Turn Lane..

1st and 2nd in line can floor it hit the yellow light going red

Also 4 Way "STOP SIGNS"

A 2 way stop sign is "Understood" you with Stop Sign sit and wait look again make sure its "Clear"..

4 way Stops signs everybody stack up bumper to bumper looking and waving at eachother like a Deer in the headlights.

No you go ..pardon me I insist you go first..

Excuse me I need ya to go first so I can turn around go back the other way.

Okay I am not gonna write and mail that letter I told you guys and what do ya think because ya out there too see the same stuff out there every single day too

I am with you on synchronizing the stop light if you are on a major road.
Most nights on my drive home I get mostly green light but tonight I left a few minutes later and hit every damn light red. Why am I stopping at every light to let one car go from a secondary road?

There is a city north east of here, Willowdale, they had synchronized lights. As long as you did the speed limit you could time the lights all green on a major roadway.
This cuts down on speed and congestion.

Lake County Illinois does it better on "Route 137" ya not gonna hit every single green-light but If ya go with the flow of traffic ya aint gonna be slamming ya brakes hard every red-light through town neither.

I forgot in the "OP" the Pedestrian "Crosswalk" signal..

The newer ones flash the seconds and thats a Guide-Line for Drivers too..

Ya know by watching Cross-Walk seconds if ya can "Make It Clear the Intersection " or if ya gotta "Down-Shift" roll into a STOP
