yet without us truck drivers there would be naked, hungry, homeless, and needy people out here.. i just dont get it!! we deliver everything!!! clothes, wood, steal, food, milk, gas, hell you name it a truck more than likely brought it!!!

I'm not a driver, but I have worked within the trucking industry for over 4 years. I've got to say, I'm proud to work in this industry. I enjoy the conversations and the great people I meet everyday. I myself can honestly say I would never be able to what you guys/gals do. It takes a certain person to live most there life on the road. Every mile you drive, can be just as dangerous as any other high profile job. As with any industry, you do have a few bad seeds, but I have been blessed with getting to know alot of great people.

I got this message tonight. One families way of saluting drivers and whats been going on:

My husband is a truck driver and we support what everyone is doing 100%. The boys go over the road with their dad every summer. The boys and I wanted to help support the strike and decorated the van. Our thoughts and prays are with you all.
