Some allow it, some don’t. You will have to check the contracts before signing.

The answer is no. You are not an owner/operator and have no say what you do with the truck other than work for the company that conned you into a lease/purchase. There has never been a legit lease/purchase. It's just a scam for the company to not have to pay half your SS contribution and give you no benefits.
