The former CEO of a Pennsylvania trucking firm, already in federal prison on an unrelated check-kiting scheme, was sentenced to at least eight more years in prison for his role in a fraud scheme.
Timothy Kephart, 56, the former president of Kephart Trucking, was sentenced Friday, July 31, to a minimum of eight years and a maximum of 32 years in prison by Clearfield County (Pa.) Judge Frederic Ammerman, according to a report in The Gant Daily. In addition to the jail time, Kephart was also ordered to repay more than $40,000 to his employees.
