It was 50 degrees when I was tagged for the record. I should of not been lazy and rolled them better before the 8am inspection. I knew it was coming.

Once again I could of chose to ignore it and lose 5 points. It was my choice to comply.
Can you explain this point system they have?

How many sgm are in the office?

Or are they mostly 2lt?

Appropriate to give a note on rerolling.....

Excessive for out of service.

Apparently we see a major difference.

Ok so pay is performances based and the more points you earn in a month the more you get paid.

Revenue is the biggest, it can net you 95 points, have to average over $4150 per week for 95 points.

MPG up to 45 points. Scaled based on fleet average for the week.

Out of route up to 45 points. Less out of route the higher the points.

5 points for good appearance
5 points for TQM (a class on how to manage time and route)
5points for advanced TQM

4 points for Twic
4Points for hazmat
4points for pass port

Parking up at customer on Sunday night for Monday unload
Week 1:3pts
Week 2:4pts
5points for the rest of the weeks in the month.

Add these all together and it works you up the payscale.

Top numbers are percentage bottom is points. I am usually 200-220

Where your points fall is your percentage for the month. This is calculated the Thursday before the first Friday of the month.

Some people teeter on the edge of a percentage so for some a five point loss is a big deal.

The tag is merely a delivery method. I makes me go into the shop and see what was wrong.

I don’t see a problem with how it was handled. It’s what ever I’m not actually in trouble.

Founded by a Marine LTC.

Don’t walk on the ****ing grass at a TMC terminal either. If seen by the right person you can be terminated.

Why the hell would anyone want to work at a company like that?

Walmart isn’t that ridiculous. No really, it’s not.

I’ve heard it said “if you were in the military you’ll like it here.”

Bullshit.

I was in the military and I understand that I’m not anymore. So there’s no reason to be wound tighter than a drum.

No way in hell I’d deal with that.

No shit. Do they stand at parade rest for the desk jockeys too?

Precisely why you don’t work there.

TMC is for some people and not for others. It’s a good fit for me. They pay me well. It’s their equipment, I will maintain it how they wish.

Not for you guys, I get it. That’s why y’all don’t work here. Doesn’t make TMC a bad place to work. And I won’t do cameras in the truck and someone telling me how much time I can spend in the sleeper. That’s why I don’t work for Walmart. Plus Walmart is literally the devil. Not necessarily the fleet but the business as a whole. I don’t like Walmart. And try to avoid using them. But y’all do you, ima do me.
