Life in Sector 7 G.

After re-reading some reviews about the gaming chair after assembling and using it I have some solutions.

reviewer says padding on chair too thin. - Your ass is not fat enough.

Footrest has no stopper to keep it from sliding all the way out - You did not assemble it right.

Missing screws - definitely a screw missing, assembly requires only bolts.

Maybe I could get a job in customer service. 🤔

You could write the "troubleshooting" part of product manuals.

Problem: Unit won't turn on
Possible solution: your dumb ass forgot to plug it in

I like those videos where no matter the problem the guy says, I know the problem, It ain't got no gas!

Truck stuck under a bridge..

Where do I start with this one? Years ago, I bought a two-wheeler hand truck/ dolly, whatever you want to call it knowing full well that the reviews said the pneumatic tires were junk! The price was right even if I had to replace the wheels with solid wheels or other pneumatic wheels.

One reviewer said using can of Fix-A-flat worked for them.

Last year I bought a can of Fix-A-Flat. Not for the dolly but for my car. My mechanic said, do not use that crap on your car!

So, I had this can of Fix-A-Flat and repurposed it to hopefully fix the wheels on the dolly as one reviewer recommended.

Best case scenario is it works!
Worst case scenario is I have to replace the wheels on the dolly like I knew i would have to when I bought it.

All I need it to do is get me through tomorrow. If need be I can buy new wheels later when I get the axle measurements, wheel and hardware.

I know many of you are pretty handy. do you think it will work as a long-term solution?

I don't know.. But I just ordered some 10" flat-free wheels for ten bucks each off Temu. I figure it's the same Chinese shit they sell at Menards for $40

They supposedly come with two sets of bearings, for 5/8" or 3/4" axles.

Ten bucks is a pretty good price if they are good wheels.

It's going to take you 6 weeks to get them and then the Orange Man's tariffs will be tacked on and you'll be paying the $40 that you would have at your local store. ;)

Less than a week I'm guessing, because ever since Trump leveled the playing field, Temu has been smuggling everything into the country via ports in Vietnam or Korea.

The wheels are in a warehouse somewhere in the USA.

No different than Amazon, except they rely extensively on the US Postal service, which results in lots of interesting package tracking results.

For example when I ordered my remote control lawnmower, it started in Wilmington, DE and went to Baltimore, then to Chicago, then back to Baltimore, the back to Chicago, then here.

I've got 4 already, in a box. The wheels are definitely strong enough for the stated load range, but I don't know how much weight the foam-core tires will take before they bulge out at the bottom, creating rolling resistance.

They oughta be fine for your dolly I'm guessing.

The ones that I already have are split-rim design, which is unnecessary on a wheel that never needs an inner tube replaced.

The ones on the way now, appear to be one-piece.

I ordered the first 4 to replace the pneumatic ones on my portable chicken coop.

The ones I just ordered are going to be on my homemade shopping cart.

Every time I work on ANYTHING, outside of the shop, when I'm done I've accumulated too many tools to carry back in one trip.

I've been wanting a shopping cart for that, but with big wheels that can roll in the grass.

I've also decided that I'm not going to steal one, because I don't steal stuff..

Even if I buy one, most people will probably think I stole it. And also, shopping carts anywhere except at the store where they belong, makes a place look like a homeless camp.

So my idea is to make my own shopping cart that's obviously homemade so nobody thinks I stole it.

Where I went to pick up the dishwasher is known as Albion. i have not been there in decades.
When I was around 17 yrs old, we were driving by on our way to the street races and we saw this brawl that had broken out. So, we turned around and the brawl had dispersed. But on the ground laid this man with part of his skull missing and a golf club lay next to him.
I could see his brain. He was grey in color. He was dead for sure.

I had forgot about this for like 20 years and then that memory came back to me out of the blue one day.
I am not traumatized but, that is just something you don't see every day.

I wrote up that the tires on the truck needed replacing. I didn't expect them to be replaced the same day. The tire guy's name must be Justin Time; He was Just in Time to replace the racing slicks with a good set of open shoulder tires. Good for winter just before we got an unexpected snow fall.

I am not sure if any other drivers wrote that up too. The company is very good when it comes to safety.

@Rigjockey Yes they are.

The Fix-A-Flat solution worked for now. I took out the old dishwasher and brought up the new one.
I am not sure how long that solution will last but it got me through today.
These are the fat-free solid 9 dollar ching chong wheels I got offa Temu.

They're the exact same thing Farm and Fleet wants $32 for.

They did NOT come with an extra set of bearings for 3/4" axles.

Tire OD is ten inches.

Axle hole is 5/8"

The hub is offset. On one side it extends 1/4" past the tire.

On the other side it's recessed by 1-5/16" 20251205_160140.webp

Later on, after some sleep I plan on watching the documentary on Netflix "Sean Combs" AKA Puff Daddy. "Fifty Cent" is in this or produced this, I don't know.
Fifty Cent would have the goods on Puff Daddy.
I am not into rap or whatever. But it sounds like an interesting story like the R. Kelly story.

I would ASSume that the longer hub snout goes to the inside.

Now you're going to tell us that you have the 3/4" axles, right?
Nope I needed 5/8", but I thought the ad said it came with a set of 3/4" ones you can swap in. I guess not.

I don't know what axle size is on RJ's 2 wheel dolly.

But now he knows the option exists, and this is one Temu item where he will know what he's getting cuz I have 4 of them now and posted pictures with rulers.
